This is a placeholder document. It will be replaced with reviewed legal copy prior to the public launch of RideReady Listings.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or post a listing. We also collect usage data, including pages visited, search queries, and listing interactions, to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to operate and improve RideReady Listings, including displaying your listings, facilitating contact between buyers and sellers, sending transactional emails (e.g. account verification), and preventing fraud or abuse.

3. Contact Information & Seller Privacy

Seller contact details (phone number or email) are never displayed publicly without an explicit reveal action by a signed-in buyer. Each buyer has a limited number of reveals per day to prevent scraping. We do not sell your contact information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host the platform and store data. AWS services we use include Cognito (authentication), DynamoDB (database), S3 (image storage), and CloudFront (CDN). Each provider operates under its own privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account. Deleted listings are removed from public view immediately but may remain in backups for up to 30 days. You may request full account deletion by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed passwords via AWS Cognito, and access-controlled cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email us at privacy@ridereadylistings.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
